MEET JOY
Joy Chudacoff, ICF, PCC, founded Smart Women Smart Solutions™ with one purpose: To help women everywhere create extraordinary lives—both at work and at home. Joy is a Professional Certified Coach, Motivational Speaker, highly skilled group leader, business consultant, and the author of Reflections, a “buzz generating” weekly ezine, designed to enrich women’s lives. Joy has helped 1,000’s of women design the lives they choose to live. Helping women realize their dreams and achieve better ways of living is her passion, her purpose, and her business.
As a wife and mother of two, she “gets” that there is more to life than one's career. Like many women who are drawn to entrepreneurship, Joy inhabits a world that requires balancing business with home life. In the midst of this busyness, she manages to find time to take care of herself (most days, anyway!). Having at least semi-mastered juggling all the facets of her life, Joy now works with women one-to-one (coaching) and in groups (Success Circles) to help them define success on their own terms, identify outlets for their creativity, develop businesses, and manage careers that are anchored in their most important values.
Joy earned her business degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Prior to launching Smart Women Smart Solutions™, she founded and ran Future Medical, a Los Angeles based equipment leasing company and Wellness Marketing Group, an international nutritional products marketing firm. Joy received her coaching certification from The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara and trained as a circle facilitator at Peer Spirit on Whidbey Island, Washington. Joy is a Professional Certified Coach and a member of the International Coach Federation. She’s on the Advisory Board of Women For Hire as well as the Business and Life Coach for the National Association for Entreprenurial Moms. Joy is a founding board member for The Broads Circle, Los Angeles, California. Joy received the 2009 Platinum Excellence Award from Ali Brown’s Millionaire Protégé Club, which is awarded to the entrepreneur with the most successful business programs for the year. Joy is also an active Governing Council Member at her children’s local public Charter school.
Joy resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Greg, and their two children. In addition to Smart Women Smart Solutions™ and taking care of her busy family, she enjoys running, meditation, reading, volunteering at her children's schools, and learning something new every day from other smart women.
