What do parents do when their children get out of school on Friday at noon? You go to the “happiest place on Earth–Disneyland!” We went last Friday afternoon and had a great time. Disneyland is decorated beautifully for the holidays, which made it twice as fun. Santa Claus made a special appearance and we saw real reindeer!
On Sunday, I hosted an “Appreciation Afternoon” for women in my life who continue to support my business and my ideas year after year. Each woman received a special manicure and chair massage at Christine Valmy Salon in Marina del Rey while enjoying wine and cheese. It was a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon where women from the Success Circles had a chance to reconnect or possibly meet for the first time! games, played Junior Monopoly, Chutes and Ladders, read books and of course, ate a lot of good food! Greg’s parents joined us for a few days as well, which was great for everyone to reconnect again as an extended family. My mom went back home to the East Coast yesterday. I always feel a little blue when she goes. I am grateful that she is with us and able to make the trip.
